Let’s face it:

Our Ultra-Low Profile Bottle Cage Bolts are great for maximum clearance, but they aren't for everyone. Those Ultra-Low heads require small tools, relatively low torques, and a level of patience that some mechanics simply don’t want to deal with on a Tuesday night in the garage.

If you want a sleek, low-profile look but prefer using standard tools, this is your bolt.

We designed our Low-Profile Titanium Bottle Cage Bolts to hit the perfect balance between low-profile clearance and real-world durability. With a modest 3.7mm head height, these bolts sit low enough to eliminate water bottle, cargo cage, and frame bag interference, yet they retain a full-size, robust 4mm hex drive. That means maximum tool engagement, effortless installation with your everyday multi-tool, and zero anxiety about getting carried away when tightening.

Unlike our old tapered-head bolts that only measured 8.4mm at the base, we gave this version a generous 9.8mm head diameter. This wider base distributes the clamping force across more surface area, securing slotted water bottle cages perfectly without forcing you to use ugly washers.

Machined from premium Grade 5 Titanium, they deliver the strength of steel at roughly half the weight—giving you a lightweight upgrade without the fragility of aluminum hardware. Plus, our premium PVD finishes are molecularly bonded to the titanium, making them highly scratch-resistant and immune to fading under the baking sun or from cage friction.

Technical Specifications:

  • Material: Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V)
  • Thread Size: M5 x 14mm
  • Head Size: 9.8mm x 3.7mm
  • Drive Format: Full-size 4mm Hex
  • Finish: Ultra-durable Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating
  • Compatibility: Standard M5 threaded frame bosses, water bottle cages, cargo mounts, and fender eyes across road, gravel, mountain, and bikepacking frames.

A Note on Installation:

Even though these feature a beefier 4mm hex drive, lightweight titanium hardware still requires proper respect. Always apply a quality anti-seize compound or grease to the threads before installation, and use a reliable torque wrench. Turn them out and re-grease them annually (sooner if you ride on salted winter roads or tend to drip sticky electrolyte drinks onto your frame).
