How to identify your derailleur:
- Derailleur Name:Â Marked on the outside of the derailleur body.
- Part Number: Located on the back side of the unit.
- Verification: All compatible units are marked "T-Type" on the back of the inner cage plate.

Installation
Important!
Improper installation can result in derailleur damage or serious injury. If you're not familiar with derailleur installation or hanger alignment, please take this to your local shop.
Tools & Supplies Required:
- Calibrated torque wrench with 8mm hex bit
- Nickel anti-seize compound
- Tools specific to your frame and rear axle
Installation:
- Lock rear derailleur in fully extended Open Mode position using Cage Mode button
- Remove rear wheel and thru axle, set aside
- Strongly recommended: Remove battery from derailleur and install battery cover
- Apply coating of anti-seize compound to threads inside and outside of Full Mount bolt.
- Remove stock Full Mount bolt from derailleur by turning counter-clockwise.
This will disconnect derailleur from frame. - Replace stock Full Mount bolt with upgrade bolt and thread in lightly.
- Follow SRAM instructions for your specific frame and derailleur to set chain tension and tighten all hardware to spec.
